Top Five Things to Look Forward to in Series Four of Arrow

Last we saw him Oliver Queen seemed to be leaving the Arrow behind, but what surprised are in store? With only one week to go to the new series, we count down the top 5 things that we are looking forward to with the return of Arrow.

5. Diggle Suiting Up

He started as Oliver's faithful bodyguard and became Oliver's best friend. He has been there through thick and thin, fighting crime and having the Arrow's back so it only seems right to give Diggle a costume. Since the Arrow 'died' Starling city needed more and now it has it. From the looks of the new trailer Diggle is wearing a very cool looking mask and getting more and more into his role as a 'Super hero.' Costumes have played a big part in Arrow since the second series so it will be exciting to see Diggle get a good piece of the pie.

4. Sara Resurrected

After dying in the shocking opening episode of series 3, it looks like Thea won't be the only one having been resurrected in the Lazurous Pit. Although we know that she is only returning to become a regular on the new show DC: Legends of Tomorrow, we can't deny that we are very excited to be seeing the better half of the Lance sisters back on our screens!

3. Thea's Dark Side

Thea finally found out Oliver's secret in the third series and it seems that this has lead her to a very exciting future becoming Arsenal (or Speedy as she is going to be known) and suiting up in what was once Roy Harper's red suit. But a new suit isn't the only new dimension to Thea's character. After being stabbed to death in Ras Al Ghul's attempt to force Oliver into being his heir, Thea was then restored to life by the Lazurous Pit, but those who come back from the pit don't always return the same. We can't wait to see what effect this has had on Thea.

2. Damien Darhk

His comic book wikia depicts him as a 'mysterious, elusive and dangerous figure.' A charming rogue with connections to H.I.V.E. A corporation that we know was involved in the death of Diggle's brother. Which makes us all think that they could be making an appearance in series 4, which would give Diggle a chance to really get to the bottom of what happened to his sibling. With little information on him as a character on the internet, it is interesting that Arrow has gone for such a minor player as the villain for this series as apposed to the very well known Deathstroke and Ras Al Ghul from series 2 and 3. We look forward to seeing what new villainous antics this fiend brings to Starling City.

1. The New Green Arrow costume

He left being the Arrow behind forever. But not really. Stephen Amell revealed in an interview after series 3 that Oliver Queen had been the Arrow for the last time. So what does this mean? Oliver is quite clearly in a new costume during the fourth series, is what Amell was hinting at a name change? Has Arrow finally graduated into...the Green Arrow. We don't know, what we do know is that Oliver Queen looks cooler than he has ever been before and we are are excited to see what lies ahead for the ex-billionaire play boy.

That was our five most anticipated things about Arrow season 4, but what are yours? Please comment below, we love to hear your thoughts and opinions.
